Your personal background.
I am 24 years old and I currently live in the Madeira island, Portugal.
I have an (integrated) MA in Archaeology, from the University of Wroclaw, in Poland, part of which was attended at the University of Oporto, Portugal. During the last academic year I was a student at the University College London, where I completed an MSc in Forensic Archaeological Science. At the moment, I am a Ph.D candidate for the Security and Crime Science program at the Jill Dando Institute, UCL.
I have a particular interest in the application of forensic archaeology in human rights investigations (e.g. genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity). I am also interested in counter terrorism and mass disaster management. I intend to acquire further knowledge and skills in order to become an expert in these areas.
Apart from my academic interests, I love playing poker and I also like watching football and rugby. I spend some of my free time reading and trying to improve my language skills.
Your opinions about ibercivis
I decided to become part of this project because I think I would be one more person to contribute for a great cause. I truthfully believe that by approaching investigators to community will, not only allow everyone to understand what relevant steps are being made in science but also permit an exchange of information or ideas that may be fulcral for scientific developments.
